Chat archive
Some chats you want to keep but stop seeing every day. The archive moves them out of the sidebar without deleting anything — they stay searchable and you can pull them back at any time.
Archiving a chat
Open the per-row menu in the sidebar (or right-click the row) and pick Move to Archive. The chat disappears from the main list immediately. The same option lives in the chat’s own header menu.
The archive view
The archive lives at Settings → Archive. From there you can:
- Open an archived chat read-only.
- Unarchive to bring it back into the main list.
- Permanently delete from the archive.
- Archive all — mass-park your current chats before starting fresh.
- Remove all — permanently delete every archived chat in one step. Guarded by a typed-confirm dialog because it is irreversible.
Archive vs delete
Archiving keeps the conversation intact. If you want it gone for good, pick Delete from the chat’s menu instead — or archive first and decide later.
