Snippets

A Snippet is a saved prompt with an optional pinned provider and model. Snippets live in their own sidebar tab and exist for the kind of prompt you reach for over and over — “summarise this in three bullets”, “review this diff for security issues”, “translate to formal Polish”.

Creating

Create a Snippet with a title and the prompt body. Optionally pin it to a specific provider and model so Run always starts a chat there. Pinning is a nice fit for prompts that genuinely need a particular model — a vision-capable model for image work, a coding-tuned model for review.

Running

Hit Run on a Snippet to open a fresh chat (with the pinned model if any) and prime the composer with the snippet’s prompt. You can edit the prompt before sending — Snippets are a starting point, not a one-shot button.

Bookmark assistant replies as Snippets

Right-click any assistant message and pick Save as snippet. Loach pre-fills the editor with that text so you can turn a good reply into a reusable prompt without copy-pasting.

The library

The Snippets tab shows a tile grid sorted by recency, with a search field at the top. Each tile has a menu for edit and delete.
